So Fresh So Clean

So Fresh So Clean is a Global Shapers Community initiative bringing mental health resources into salons, barbershops, and beauty spaces. Partnering with cosmetologists and beauty professionals, the project provides them with resources to support the well-being of their clients.

Naima has been a key contributor to So Fresh So Clean (SFSC), supporting Project Lead Kemi Oritsejafor in developing and bringing the initiative to life. She helped shape SFSC’s visual identity by designing the project’s logo, developing multiple colorways, and creating branded materials and design elements that established a cohesive and recognizable identity for the initiative. Beyond branding, Naima has supported program development, community activations, partnerships, and efforts to build SFSC into a model that can be replicated across communities and Global Shapers hubs. Since its inception, the initiative has raised more than $5,000 in funding from NY Beauty Suites, secured a partnership with Fenty Beauty, and partnered with Headstream to support its youth programming, securing an additional $6,000+ in funding and advancing plans to distribute 200+ mental health resource kits through trusted community spaces such as salons, barbershops, and beauty spaces. Naima has also been driving the development of SFSC’s digital mental health resource database, expanding the initiative beyond physical programming by creating a centralized platform for accessible well-being resources, training, and support delivered through technology and media.
